Lenskart is launching ‘Urban Retro’ a fresh eyewear campaign that merges nostalgic styles with modern trends. The campaign aims to showcase vintage-inspired sleek eyeglasses and coloured-soaked sunglasses with bold silhouettes - designs that evoke classic eras while remaining contemporary and playful.
Visual Brief: The typography for this collection campaign embraces bold, slightly condensed serif fonts reminiscent of vintage magazine ad campaigns yet crisp enough for a contemporary appeal. The design for the layouts are warm and textured, featuring grainy overlays and soft vignettes with overlapping text. A nostalgic colour palette of burnt colour tones that evoke retro charm along with film grain evoke a timeworn aesthetic. Result? A visually rich and effortlessly cool throwback that feels familiar while being fashion forward.

Designing the visual experience for this brand collection included working on the Product display page (PDP) across different formats - website & app. Developing the visual language parallelly with UI elements closely with the backend team that helped create better navigational and interactive experiences
The concluding phase of designing the visual experience was to ensure that the deployment of the brand campaign assets on the app and website was done correctly. It required my job as a designer to put together prototypes of my design and do thorough hygiene checks along with the back-end development team before the campaign collection went live.
